The Rose Family

Rosaceae is one of the largest flowering plant families. This family includes many garden favorites, like roses, hawthorns, rowans, and crabapples, as well as many edible fruits! Plums, pears, peaches, apples, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, almonds, and cherries are all in the Rose family. The family is so large that it is separated into three sub-families, which are designated for our specimens as well.
