The Woods and Water Program assists landowners with planning and implementation of land restoration activities like native plantings, invasive species removal, and runoff and erosion reduction. These practices may be eligible for funding support through the Healthy Lakes and Rivers Program.
Healthy Lakes and Rivers Program
As a partner of Wisconsin’s Healthy Lakes & Rivers Program, North Lakeland Discovery Center helps property owners promote healthy lakes and rivers from their shoreline. We can assist with Healthy Lakes & Rivers grant funding and implementation to support native community restoration, runoff reduction, and erosion control projects.
