The Water-milfoils

Haloragaceae is an incredibly widespread family, though it's mainly concentrated in the tropics and Australia. We spend a lot of time looking at milfoils, especially during field season! Eurasian Water-Milfoil is an aggressive invasive in this region, and a lot of time is spent on surveys and removal. However, this also means that we get excited when we find a milfoil that isn't invasive!
