Your membership contribution to the Discovery Center allows our 1000s of annual visitors to hike & bike our trails, visit our nature center, canoe the lakes and rivers, participate in a field trip, hear a lecture or take a class. All our activities celebrate the richness of life in the Northwoods.  Discovery Center programs are based on the premise that the better we understand our natural environment, the more likely we are to embrace our shared responsibility to look after it.  

Your membership support gives us the ability to maintain ongoing programs and create new programs; to offer outreach programs in surrounding communities; and provide learning opportunities for everybody whether neighbors or guests in the Northwoods.  It also enables us to underwrite the cost of many of our youth programs. As a community based organization, we aim to ensure that all children can participate in our programs, regardless of their financial circumstances.
