An ideal cabin for the silent sports enthusiast, or for those simply in need of a quiet, cozy vacation.
The Discovery Center property houses a cozy rental cabin, snuggled amongst
the pines and offering picturesque views of Statehouse Wilderness Lake. This secluded setting offers a beautiful and peaceful get-away, available to visitors for weekend, weekly, or extended stays.
The 2-bedroom 1-bath cabin features a fully equipped kitchen, wood interior and vaulted ceilings, wood-burning stove, large picture windows lending a gorgeous lake view, and front-door access to groomed ski and snowshoe trails. Additional activities include ice fishing, ice skating, wildlife watching, and joining in a Discovery Center community and/or youth education program. Don't forget to visit the Center's newly restored sauna, ideally situated a short hiking distance from the cabin.

· 2-bedrooms - double bed, bunk bed and single twin bed
· Roll-away bed is available for an additional $10/night
· Wood-burning stove
· Microwave, range, oven, toaster, and coffee machine
· Bed linens and kitchen towels provided - bath towels
and paper products should be supplied by guests
· Firepit, camp chairs, and firewood on-site
· Maps, brochures, books, and games are available
for guest use
· Pets should be discussed when making reservations |
