Outdoor
Teach/ Assist in Naturalist Programs: If you have a background or specialty in environmental education or the natural world, help lead a program or we'll develop one around your skills.
Eco-Discoverers: Crafts, stories and activities for 4-7 year olds.
Eco-Explorers: Onsite explorations including bogwalks, canoes and kayaks, hikes, and survival lessonsfor 8-10 year olds.
Eco-Adventurers: Each week a different off-site adventure, assist with supervision of 9-14 year olds.
Guided Nature Hikes: Take visitors on a tour of our interpretive trail. Training provided.
Landscaping & Gardening: Weed, water, fill bird feeders.
Trail Maintenance: Remove fallen trees, winter ski grooming.
Citizen Science Research: Help conduct scientific studies, often in your own backyard! (A list is provided below of a list of the projects we currently need help with). Training provided.
Indoor
Office Help: Be part of our office crew. More details above.
Research and Write Grants (previous background required). A lot of our citizen-based research relies on grant funds. We need help in procuring and mainting these funds.
Organize Program Supplies
Marketing: Help write press releases, blog entries, emails, postcards, etc.
Specialty Skills
Carpentry: Help build bat boxes, bird houses, butterfly buildings, benches, etc.
